I am a lover of life, people and music. I love most things, except writing biographies about myself.
Some things I like a lot: carbohydrates, road trips, puppies, new (and old) friends, the Carolina Panthers, suns, 98°’s Christmas album, and lists.
Some things I’m learning to like: tea, budgets, and promoting myself on social media.
Some things I’m really not fond of: slugs, chocolate, negativity, and squeaky dog toys.
I wrote my first song when I was 13 with a bad crush on an 17 year old (the feeling was not mutual). Since then, writing has been my way of making sense of the world around me. After graduating from the University of South Carolina in May 2015, I made the move to Nashville, TN to become another singer-songwriter trying to write good music and find people to listen to it.
I’m putting out a new EP, “The Way Things End” this spring and I’m really excited about it and about the progress I’ve made as an artist since my last project. I have a hunch that 2016 is going to be a great year.
And that’s all the important stuff. Thanks for reading and listening!
